This cowl and hat evoke Swiss chalets and hot chocolate. Select one color to revel in fab texture or pick two luscious colors with just the right amount of contrast and dive in. Instructions are identical for both the cowl and the hat through the section for the top shaping (so you don’t have to decide whether you want a hat or a cowl until the last minute!). 

With two simple cable stitches and using only one color per row, this project is a good way to expand or practice these important knitting skills.
